Joanna is a Junior Associate at Ballas Pelecanos Law and a member of the Intellectual Property and the Dispute Resolution practice groups of our firm.

She has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2014 and entitled to argue cases before all First Instance Courts. A graduate of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (LL.B.), she also earned a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the same University. She has also completed the EUIPO Trade Mark and Design Education Programme (ETMD EP), offering advanced training to IP practitioners.

At Ballas Pelecanos Law, Joanna advises our firm’s clients on all aspects of Intellectual Property, and in particular trademarks, designs, patents and utility models. She also handles opposition and cancellation proceedings before the EUIPO, the Greek Administrative Trademark Committee and the Administrative Courts and participates in Intellectual Property civil litigation proceedings.

Prior to joining our firm, Joanna practiced in a top-tier IP boutique law firm and as a legal advisor to SMEs.
