Athanasios is an Associate and participates in the Company & Employment Group, the Economic Law Group and the Dispute Resolution Group.
He holds a degree in Law from Paris II – Panthéon Assas University and a Master’s degree in Corporate Law from Paris IX – Dauphine University. He is currently preparing his doctoral thesis on the subject of cross-border insolvency of groups of companies.
Athanasios advises and litigates on all aspects of company, banking and finance law as well as insolvency and restructuring. His practice includes company structuring and establishment, ongoing corporate governance and regulatory compliance matters, cross-border mobility operations, project finance, corporate and financial restructuring schemes and group insolvencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Athanasios worked for the Company Law Unit of the European Commission on the Company Law Package Project (cross-border mergers, divisions, conversions and digitalisation of company law proposals).
Athanasios has authored several articles on national and EU business law matters in various legal publications.
