As part of its social engagement programme, Ballas Pelecanos Law supported the Citizens’ Movement for an Open Society in organising a public debate titled “Undermining the general economic order: from inflation to tariffs.”

The discussion focused on inflation, trade barriers and their impact on the European economic framework and social cohesion, bringing together Theodore Pelagidis, Vice Chairman of the Bank of Greece and Professor at the University of Piraeus, Dimitris Papalexopoulos, CEO of TITAN Group, Soti Triantafyllou, author and historian, and Loukas Tsoukalis, Chairman of ELIAMEP.

The debate underlined the need to balance economic realism with the protection of European values and effective EU governance at a time of heightened uncertainty.
