Due to the high epidemiological level and the pressure of the National Healthcare System, the Prime Minister addressed the nation on Tuesday afternoon and announced a strict lockdown, like the one in the beginning of the pandemic, so far for Attica, Greece. The new measures will apply from Thursday 11th of February until the 28th of February 2021.

Further, the Ministry of Development specified the way in which the market will operate during the total lockdown of Attica, with retail stores closing entirely and no click-in-shop nor click-away allowed. Stores may only operate through e-shops.

Last, the shops and service providers remaining fully functional are the following: supermarkets and other convenience stores, pharmacies, pet shops, telecomunications, optical/hearing aids stores, wig shops, flower shops (only for the 13th and 14th of February), stores operating via e-shops, launderies, gas stations, vehicle service stations and technical checks for vehicles (KTEO).
