Friday, November 27, 2020

According to announcements of the government spokesman during the press briefing, existing restrictive measures for the protection against the coronavirus pandemic (lockdown) are extended until 6 am Monday, December 7, 2020.

This decision seems to be of essence, as the epidemiological numbers throughout the country still remain high. Especially some areas, such as Thessaloniki, Serres, Larissa, Magnesia, Aitoloakarnania, Achaia and Lesvos, show a very high number of cases in relation to their population.

According to the spokesman’s announcements, the primary goal remains to acquire the vaccine, remain healthy and for the country to enter into a new era as of spring of 2021.

Furthermore, it was announced today that the obligatory teleworking for the 50% of the employees is extended until December 31, 2020.
